Day one: we are officially making our first pixel RPG, Call Me Human
Today is a special day for us: we, Tini and Marko, are officially starting development on Call Me Human, our very first game. This is our first ever devlog entry, and from today on we are taking you along for the whole journey.
A year of engine work before the start
It all began as a hobby project of mine (Marko). For more than a year I built our own engine on the side, the Terra Engine. With it, planets, areas and whole worlds take shape piece by piece, exactly the way we imagine them.

Over the last few months everything fell into place, and we decided: now this becomes a real game. We spent the past weeks building everything around Call Me Human, our website, this devlog and the tech behind it. Of course we had already tried and tested a few things before. But now the engine is ready enough for us to start officially: with the story, the foundations and the first starting area.
Why now
To be honest, the last year was not easy for either of us. Work did not go the way we had hoped, neither for Tini nor for me, and at some point our thoughts kept circling around worries. We tried a lot of things and still often did not know where the journey was headed.
One thing always did us good during that time: playing games together. It made us calm and happy and brought us back to ourselves. So we made a decision. No matter what situation we are in right now, from now on we do what truly makes us happy. We are making a game.
We tell the whole story of how it came to this on our story page at Luneo Entertainment.
Our goal: one game in one year
We have set ourselves the goal of finishing Call Me Human within one year, by October 22, 2027. We are really excited to see whether we can make it, because we have never made a game before. But creativity, stories and development are familiar ground for us: before this, we built and ran an app that more than 100,000 people use.
Come along on the journey
Here in the devlog and on social media we report several times a day on how a game gets made: from tasks and planning to structure, tech and the game itself, in videos, images, shorts and posts like this one. Everything that happens day to day in our Luneo Entertainment studio, you will see here from now on.
We would love it if you follow us and join us on this journey. And if you want to be there when Call Me Human comes out, join the waitlist at call-me-human.com.
See you soon,
