Terms and Conditions

Last updated: October 2026

1. Scope and provider

These terms and conditions apply to the use of the Call Me Human websites (call-me-human.com with Devlog, Wiki, Roadmap, FAQ, Media and Feedback & Bugs) and to all offers related to the game Call Me Human. The provider is Brainwave Entertainment GmbH, Starhembergstraße 7, 4020 Linz, Austria ("we"). Call Me Human is a brand of Luneo Entertainment® Development Studio. You'll find all company details in the imprint.

A consumer is any natural person entering into a transaction mainly for private purposes. A business is anyone acting in the course of their trade or independent profession. We only accept different terms if we expressly agree to them.

2. Our websites

Using the websites is free and requires no account. Call Me Human is in development: names, stats, images and plans we show may change and are partly placeholders. Information about content, platforms and dates describes our plans, not promises. We aim to keep the websites available at all times, but there is no entitlement to this.

3. Content, wallpapers and images

All texts, images, artwork, music, videos and game content on our websites are protected by copyright. You may download and use wallpapers and images for private, non-commercial purposes, for example as a desktop background. Sharing on social media is fine as long as you credit Call Me Human and don't alter the content. Not allowed: selling, renting, commercial use, removing copyright notices, and using the content to train AI models. For anything else, ask us via the contact form.

4. Feedback & Bugs

On feedback.call-me-human.com you can submit ideas, feedback and bug reports and vote on them. The following applies:

  • Submissions only appear after we review them. We may reject, shorten, merge or delete submissions without giving reasons.
  • Not allowed: unlawful, offensive or discriminatory content, advertising, spam, third-party rights (for example other people's images or texts), and personal data about you or others.
  • By submitting, you grant us the free, non-exclusive right, unlimited in time and territory, to publish your submission and to use and adapt your idea for the game and its development.
  • There is no entitlement to implementation, credit or payment. Votes and rankings show the community's mood, not a promise.

5. Contact form and waitlist

Using the contact form or the waitlist does not create a contract for any service. The waitlist is free and you can leave it at any time via the unsubscribe link in every email. How we handle your data is described in the privacy policy.

6. The game Call Me Human

  • Purchases through platforms: We plan to sell the game on Steam. The purchase contract is then concluded with the platform operator under its terms (for Steam: the Steam Subscriber Agreement of Valve Corporation). Prices, payment, refunds and saves in Steam Cloud are governed by those terms.
  • Kickstarter and supporter packs: A planned Kickstarter campaign is subject to Kickstarter's terms and the description of each reward. We will add details on rewards and delivery here before the campaign starts.
  • License to play: When you acquire the game, you receive a simple, non-transferable right to play it privately. Not allowed: reselling, renting, reverse engineering or decompiling (unless permitted by law), and cheats or manipulation that harm others. We will provide a separate end user license agreement (EULA) at release.
  • Early versions: Demos, test builds and Early Access are unfinished. Content, saves and features may change or be lost.
  • Videos and streams: Once the game is out, you may show videos and streams of it and earn money through the platforms' usual partner programs. We will publish the exact rules at release.
  • Health: For some people, flashing lights or patterns can trigger epileptic seizures. If you feel dizzy, have vision problems or cramps, stop playing immediately and see a doctor.

7. Paid offers directly from us

We currently don't sell anything directly through our websites. If we offer something directly later (for example supporter packs or merchandise), we will inform you before purchase about prices, payment, delivery, your right of withdrawal under the Austrian Distance and Off-Premises Contracts Act (FAGG) and the warranty. Consumers always keep their statutory warranty rights.

8. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for personal injury. For slight negligence, except in cases of personal injury, we are only liable for breaches of essential obligations and limited to the typical, foreseeable damage. For free offers (websites, downloads, feedback) we are only liable for intent and gross negligence. The operators of linked third-party websites are responsible for their content. Mandatory statutory liability, for example under the Product Liability Act, remains unaffected.

9. Dispute resolution

We are not obliged and not willing to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board. If something goes wrong, just write to us via the contact form, we can almost always find a solution.

10. Final provisions

  • Austrian law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory provisions of your country of residence.
  • The place of jurisdiction for businesses is Linz, Austria. For consumers, the statutory place of jurisdiction applies.
  • If any provision is invalid, the remaining provisions remain valid.
  • We may update these terms when our offers, the game or the law change. The version shown on this page at the time of your use or purchase applies.
